to the zoo we go...again!

So maybe I should rename our blog "We go to the zoo a lot!"  :) We do go a lot but it NEVER gets old! We see something new every time and it's an easy and fun way to spend a few hours or the whole day. Yesterday the weather was awesome so lots of animals were out and about. Here is how we spent our morning yesterday....

The weather has been so great the last couple days! Yesterday we went to the playground to enjoy the sunshine. Miles wore himself out so much that he tried climbing in the stroller when he was ready to go :) Wish all of summer felt this good!!

a little change up with the blog...

I decided to shake some things up here in my blog universe. I've found that I'm not good at keeping up with multiple ideas in one space so this blog is from this point forward going to be dedicated to just pictures and/or stories of my kiddos. So all you grandparents, aunts/uncles, and friends that want to keep up on what we're up to, you can still do that here!!

I'm going to start a different blog for the purpose of journaling my thoughts, keeping track of and sharing coupon resources, recipes, or fun ideas, and a place to share what God is doing in my life. You can find that HERE. My new blog is "Finding the good..." with the purpose of finding GOOD in each day.

So don't be worried by the format change, really nothing is changing here! I'm still going to keep you up to date on my little babes and all the adventures we find ourselves into :)

We had visitors last week and I wish we would have taken more photos! Josh's mom, great aunt, and our niece and nephew visited for a couple days. It was great to see them!

And a couple days later, the kids and I took my sister in law, Kim and my nieces, Kyah and Calli to the zoo. It was a very long day but LOTS of fun!!

A wonderful week with MANDI!!!!

This week my dear friend Mandi came to visit us from Chicago. We had SO much fun, lots of good girl time (which Sydney always wanted to be a part of), and great conversation that was just good for the soul. We were so sad to see her go, but so thankful she made the trip over!!!
