family of four...

Well, it's almost been two weeks and somehow it seems like we've had Miles here for much longer than that. We've already had our first visitor...Nana (my mom) spent most of last week with us and she was a huge help. We were all sad to see her go. Yesterday and today have been our first "normal" days home since Miles was born and although they've felt kind of chaotic, I think they've gone alright. They've left me feeling confident that we'll get into a routine before too long!  I feel like I have so much to do, so little time and energy but...the sun has been shining and we have on shorts and flip flops today! So who cares if the house is a mess, laundry is waiting in piles, dust is getting thicker by the second...I've got a happy sleeping baby, a happy girl blowing bubbles, and a minute to sit on my front porch in a bit of quiet. It's a good day :)

He's here!!!

Our little guy has finally joined us!! Here is Miles Emmett Boozell :) He was born at 4:45 p.m. on 3/7 and weighs 7 lbs 7 oz. Everything went well and mom and baby are doing great!

Not much news on the baby front. I'm slowly making progress and had my first "false alarm" this morning that consisted of 3 hours of contractions that just decided to stop :( BUT, I have a feeling he will be here very soon! Josh and I are still undecided on a name so we'll take a few more days so we can maybe come up with something that feels right :) Baby is still in the right position and we are just waiting. We're all getting so excited to meet this little guy!!! Hopefully we'll have some big news to share soon, until then......
