visit from Grandma and Papa...

We had a great visit with Josh's parents this past weekend. Sydney got a couple new books from them that I think she looked at with Grandma about 1000 times :) Miles is finally coming out of his growth spurt and getting back to a "regular" schedule....he's a growing boy!!

Miles is 6 weeks today and going through a growth spurt. He's such a low key baby and we feel blessed by his laid-backness because it was not that way with Sydney at this age. This time with Syd we were hitting the peak of her colic and it was a crazy exhausting time. I'm so thankful for more peaceful days this time around with a newborn :) Here are a couple more pictures....

We've been looking at old pictures of Sydney and comparing them to Miles and it blows my mind how much they look alike. Below is a comparison that is the best I can find of the pictures we've taken of Miles. They are baby twins! Which is good news for Miles because he has a pretty cute sister :)

Miles will be 6 weeks on Wednesday and he's doing really well! Here's the cutie pie....

And we're getting back into the normal swing of things...even though our normal looks much different than pre-Miles days :) I've enjoyed having a bit more of a predictable week so I can try some new recipes and some old favorites. Here's what we're eating this week....

Miles turned 1 month yesterday!! It amazes me how quickly time is going by with him. He's been showing us little smiles every now and then which have been so sweet. We can't wait to see more of his personality. Here's the little one month old...

Here's a picture update. Miles is growing and changing daily it seems. We're all enjoying him being a little more alert through out the day. He's up to 8 lbs 8 oz and 20 1/2 inches. It's hard to believe he will be a month old this Saturday!!
